Training Events
A number of training sessions will be provided over the region to help local communities record trees in their area. Please keep an eye on this page if you are interested in becoming a volunteer. It will be updated whenever a new training date has been organised.
Saturday 24th of April - Flass Vale Volunteer Training Event
Join the Friends of Flass Vale in a walk around their wood, learning how to spot and record potential veteran trees. Meet at the Waddington Street URC Hall, Durham at 11am.
Sunday 9th of May - Pelaw Wood Volunteer Training Event
Join the Friends of Pelaw Wood in a walk around their wood, learning how to spot and record potential veteran trees. Meet at the Vane Tempest Hall, Gilesgate at 11am.
Sunday 16th of May - Witton Gilbert Dene Volunteer Training Event
Join the Friends of Witton Gilbert Dene in a walk around their wood, learning how to spot and record potential veteran trees. Meet at the Witton Gilbert Community Centre, Witton Gilbert at 11am.
